This acrylic painting, 30" x 40," was inspired by watching my neighbor's
dog in the creek. I watched her, I drew her, and I took a photo. Later
when I looked at my photo, I saw these beautiful blue ovals in the
water. It was the sky's reflection which I hadn't even noticed as I was
so caught up with the dog. That's what made me grab my brush--the blue
