We started making these bracelets in response the Jewelry Challenge which was to make something wild and original, and different that what we usually make. After we chose the design concept, we combined our talents to create the bracelets. It took a bit of playing with copper wire to get the lengths and layout figured out. Then we were ready to try it with the silver wire and the glass pieces. DG made jigs so we could make the spiral curves smoothly and consistently. He did all of the silver soldering and polishing. Mariah cut the wires, formed the spirals and made the dichroic glass pieces as well as the final assembly. After this we designed rings in a similar design. Both the bracelets and the rings are adjustable to the wearer's size. ~ Mariah Wheeler & DG Chandler
