I had titled this basked "Large Market Basket" until I saw that Jan Dunn had given it her own title. I suspect it's a traditional title for this type of basket, and it is somewhat descriptive. This basket rocks on it's twin humps and if you turn it over it is shaped like what it's title suggests. Still, I like my own title better as you could easily use this sturdy basket to carry your cucumbers in one side and tomatoes on the other -- just right for one of my favorite summer salads. The basket feels wonderful in your hands as you carry it with the substantial smooth cedar branch.
