Although the color and leaf shape would be different, this piece reminds me of the magesty of 100s of years old live oak trees I have seen with a wild gnarled spreading trunk and broad canopy of leaves. A tree of life indeed, having lived through the centuries, home to a cacophony
of wildlife, and changing it's very environment by its imposing structure.
