Eli Davis, brand new artist at the Joyful Jewel, just today brought in several of these cedar wood planters, each with live plants by landscaper Melissa Krueger. This one has a beautiful flower design burned on the top and sturdy cedar sides. Eli, a Pittsboro carpenter, uses wood found locally, often old barn wood. He says he uses the cedar "because I love the purple in the cedar and think it really gives it a unique look." These planters are a wonderful addition to Gaia's Garden at the Joyful Jewel and would certainly be wonderful in your own home.
