"And Nothing More"
Marilyn Penrod
16" x 20", Acrylic on Canvas
$265
I love the title that Marilyn Penrod gave this painting as I think it provides insight into what she was thinking as she chose to paint this enchanting raven. You may have your own view of the meaning. Here's mine. Although the world seems to be fractured and swirling around, there is smug satisfaction in the raven's stance and one visible eye -- he has finished all he had to do that day -- a job well done. Not only is there "nothing more" there is "nothing less," and no need to worry what anyone else thinks. There is so much to be said about satisfaction! ~ Mariah
