On the first piece, by Kate Ladd, the artist has totally captured the beauty and allure of gold by placing it right in your face! -- no wonder the 49ers went West to seek this. I wonder if anyone found a woman as beautiful and fetching as this dazzling beauty. I see her beckoning in the end zone, challenging the runner close to the touchdown, going for the gold!
In the second painting by Marilyn Penrod, an enchanting raven assures "And Nothing More" -- a job well done. What else is there to say. This runner is elegant dashing in and out, around and through as if flying his way down the field to the end zone!
