Oh my goodness, Jude Lobe, what a beautiful place you are showing us in your colorful wax painting.  Peace Valley indeed.  I just want to go there, settle among the cattails with a book and read -- and watch the clouds and then follow the fish down the stream, pick a bouquet of red and yellow flowers and just breathe! Oh yes, just breathe in the peace of this compelling place.

Here's a fine invitation to "Dance" by Andrea Saccone Snyder.  It is chock full of vibrancy, movement and passion.  Andrea has layered her encaustic (wax) paints and perhaps used some hair dye from her beauty shop for some of the colors.  I am lucky enough to have seen Andrea dance and she exhibits every one of the qualities in this painting, and she looks just like this!

I think Andrea Snyder must have painted this as a self portrait, as beautiful Blue Seeker has the same serene bright elegant persona as she does.  Blue seeks grace in a steamy potion and is able to contact the mysterious realms with ease.  Yes, that's Andrea for sure!
