Cathy "Brooksie" Edwards
I love the look of fused glass jewelry and make some of it myself. This piece by Brooksie Edwards has a kind of frosty pink with blue/black iridescent glass, a wonderful combination.
Brooksie has a most beautiful artist statement too. I'm so glad to know an awakening -- and accomplished artist like her: Listening to my soul has brought me to the awakening of my artist self. Starting out as a musician on my path then led me to the art form of fused glass. I love being able to combine design with color. Like life, the rough edges smooth and the layers get integrated. There is structure with the opportunity of expansiveness.
