Tamera Cooke "Stone Enhanced Wall Hanging" at the Joyful Jewel 6-10-14

Stone Enhanced Wall Hanging
Tamera Cooke
Copper, Steel, Jasper Stone,  Centerpiece ~ 3" x 5" + Curled Hanger ~ 14"
$35

From the picture, you might expect that this piece by Tamera Cooke is a necklace, and she does have some necklaces that are similar to the centerpiece of copper and steel coils and curls.  This masterpiece hangs from more and longer coils and curls -- in fact it is actually ~ 20" in total length from top to bottom.  It is a wall hanging that would enhance any decor, especially one that features elements from nature and earth tones.  The Jasper stone in the middle is quite a nice specimen and becomes magical in Tamera's creative and capable  hands.

Tamera Cooke "Star Mandala Ornament" at the Joyful Jewel 12-3-13

"Star Mandala Ornament"

Tamera Cooke

Steel and Paint with Copper Wire Hanger

$28

We have lots of ornaments at the Joyful Jewel, and this one by Tamera Cooke is one of my favorites.  She has sculpted steel to make a dimensional multi-pointed star.  She painted the steel  with an especially beautiful blue swirl layered-looking paint, and sealed it to preserve the color and prevent rust or wear.  Then she mounted and hung the ornament from a curly-q length of sturdy copper wire.  This Star will withstand weather for outside, and it will shine beautifully all year round.
