  Jaunty, I think this is the word to describe this Monnda Welch necklace.  The iridescent enamel colors on silver show the layers, probably a few different colors of blue, some coppery brown and maybe silvery white.  I can imagine Monnda putting on a layer, firing, adding another layer, firing, etc. until she got the perfect blue.  She sets this piece of with ethereal Blue Lace Agate beads and a hand fabricated sterling silver clasp.
