          I am partial to this new painting by Rita Baldwin, not only because of the stunning beauty of the painting, but because I recognize the Spring scene on Chicken Bridge that I pass on my way in to work at the Joyful Jewel every day.  Rita has made this scene in it's bright blue, green and purple, even more magical and inviting that I had taken time to view.  Each scene, the real one, and the painted one, make me want to stop and put my feet in the water, dream and contemplate on the perfect Spring day.     ~ Mariah
