In Donna Cassidy's "Tree" series of stained glass each includes a uniquely crafted fused glass tree in the center.  This one has a thick sinewy trunk which extends down as roots firmly anchoring the tree. There is lots of red in the canopy which could be flowers, berries or red leaves.  Today I think they are berries.  Perhaps there are still some left for the birds as they forage on this cold cold Winter day.

     This scarf, a new design, by Donna Cassidy, is so much fun!  It is very light weight so will be easy to wear even in warmer weather.  The colors are softly muted and the weave is airy and ever-so soft.  One could use this to dress up a simple top and to take attention from a less-than smooth neckline while bringing out the blue in one's eyes or outfit.  There are saucy hanging loops and the scarf is just the right length to wrap loosely all the way around the neck, then leave short tails on either side.
