Shannon Bueker came in yesterday with new pieces and I thought I had taken a look, yet this morning I was totally awestruck by this powerfully humble elephant sculpture.  Shannon is widely known for her watercolor and acrylic painting, yet she has always done some pottery as well.  I just had to show you this one right away.  Elephant looks like she is entering the room right through the wall where her portrait hangs.  Perhaps aware of her large and intimidating form, she is approaching quietly and with care so that you will see she wants to tell you something.  She asks you for the same consideration as you come for guidance.
