          This stunning piece of stained glass art by Donna Cassidy, is one of my favorites.  Donna's work with fused glass trees in the middle are always popular, but this one is extra special in that the tree along with it's landscape of ocean, shore and sky make a painterly scene.  The fruit and the colors in the rest of the tree and landscape are well accented by the small fused glass squares -- which have "embossed" ferns -- and  the art glass rectangles.  Looking through the glass, the clouds of the Pittsboro day look like they are part of the piece.  I can't say the same for the cars at the bottom  though!
